Arooj Kayani, M.D.

Dr. Arooj Kayani is an accomplished pulmonologist, intensivist and advanced bronchoscopist practicing at HonorHealth since 2018. She earned her MD from Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, completed her Internal Medicine residency as Chief Resident at Creighton University Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital Phoenix, and pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.

Dr. Kayani has established a robust, state-of-the-art robotic bronchoscopy program at HonorHealth Osborn where she performs minimally invasive bronchoscopic techniques for lung cancer diagnosis and comprehensive evaluation of lung nodules. She also manages complex airway conditions including tracheal stenosis, airway tumors and tracheostomy complications. She is committed to expedited patient care, with most patients seen within one week and diagnoses provided within 1–2 weeks.

Dr. Kayani is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Neurocritical Care. She holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopy by American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. She serves as the co-chair of HonorHealth Osborn Code Committee. She is an active member of several national and international professional societies.
