Kim Josen, M.D.

Dr. Josen completed her medical degree with honors from Wayne State School of Medicine in 1994. She received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, an honor bestowed upon women graduating at the top of their medical school class. In 1997, she graduated from a year Internal medicine Residency from Northwestern University in Chicago. She stayed at Northwestern for an additional three years to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical care Medicine, graduating in 2000. She was the Crown Scholarship Fellow 1999-2000.
Dr. Josen previously worked at Pulmonary Associates from 2000-2004. While with that group, she worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Good Samaritan for four years with the academic teaching group, SAFA, after which she became an employee of Banner Samaritan. In October of 2005, Dr. Josen left Banner to start an around the clock Critical are Medicine group at what is now Honor Health Osborn Hospital. After all these years, she is the one founding member of Scottsdale Critical Care P.C.
Dr. Josen is in the Honors Medical Society, Alpha Omega Alpha . She is also a fellow with the American College of chest Physicians.
Dr. Josen has maintained her board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Although she is primarily works as an Intensivist at night in the ICU at Osborn Hospital.
